Where We Came From

 Gigi & Palmer was founded by Brittany Weir, a New Zealand designer and seamstress with a bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design and Technology from Ara Institute of Canterbury. Since childhood, Weir has been designing, sewing and dreaming of creating a fashion label.

While pursuing her degree, this childhood dream was honed into the ambition to establish a socially responsible, high-end brand, and so Gigi & Palmer was born.

The name Gigi & Palmer comes from family names, which represent both the skills and love that have been past down from generation to generation that nurtured and grew Brittany's love for creating garments.
